The production of Gurkha cigars starts with five-year-old Connecticut wrapper which is then aged an additional seven months. This is five years more than most Cuban cigars. The filler and binder are a Dominican blend grown from Cuban Piloto seed. The final year of the production marries the filler and binder with the delicate Connecticut shade wrapper, which has been ingeniously married with Louis XIII Cognac.
